What I do
I help business leaders and organizations cut through complexity and create real, lasting change. No buzzwords, no fluff, just practical, evidence-based coaching that drives measurable impact. Whether you’re an individual looking to take the next step or a team aiming to work more effectively, I tailor every program to your needs, ensuring clear actions and tangible results.
My Background

In 2025, I surpassed the 5,000-hour coaching mark. Having worked with a wide range of organizations and individuals, I’ve always been fascinated by how organizations function and why people behave the way they do within them. Over the years, I’ve explored many different organizational structures and management models to understand their inner workings.
I’ve coached both individuals, such as business leaders & managers, and teams in diverse industries. My hands-on experience includes leading a start-up as an interim CEO through a high-pressure bankruptcy process. That experience shaped my pragmatic, research-based approach: I prioritize evidence over trends.
With expertise in research, HR, leadership coaching, and organizational design, I help organizations and leaders grow, not just in theory, but in real, lasting ways.

My Approach
I focus on what individuals need to move into action mode. My coaching is based on techniques from the We-Flow method, but I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Every program is designed for what you need at that moment.
With organizations, my approach is similar: I incorporate best practices and proven methods, but always tailor them to fit your team’s real needs right now.
My style of coaching is very practical and action-driven, while still fostering deep personal and organizational growth.
Focusing on individual needs includes creating room for emotions. For some that might sound vague, but in reality it’s a very rational thing to do. Research shows that companies investing in employee well-being and stakeholder engagement see significant improvements in their growth, profits, culture and transformation success.

“Lecqer Bezig” is a combination of my name and a Dutch Phrase I really like.
Lekker Bezig, which means “going strong” or “doing well“.
For me it embraces my approach and goal to help people and organizations
to be lekker bezig in a positive, joyful and energizing manner.

My Publications
Start-up Factory
In 2019, Corporate Rebels invited me to lead research and author a book on Haier, one of the world’s most innovative organizations. After two years of deep research, we published Start-up Factory, exploring Haier’s unique structure—thousands of small companies within a giant, entrepreneurial ecosystem where innovation thrives.

Transforming Beyond the Crisis
Thinkers 50, the organization that identifies leading management ideas, asked me to write a number of chapters for the book they wanted to publish during the Covid-19 pandemic. The book focussed on organizations that were able to survive crisis, and instead of suffering from it managed to benefit and thrive in those moments. In the chapters I gave real life examples of an organization that managed to seize the big opportunity that arose.
